Hello ！ My name is Rintaro Mikami, an active professional drummer, percussionist, and composer from Tokyo, Japan, who has lived in New York for 7 years.
Graduated from the Bachelor of Music in Jazz ・ Contemporary Music at The New School University in New York City, endorsed by Canopus Drums.

I offer in-person lessons at my private studio in Long Island City （ 7 minute walk from Queensboro Plaza station on N,W,7 and 5 minute walk from Court Square 23rd St station on M,E,7) or at your home. （ Online lessons are available at the following locations. Online lessons available upon request ）

Beginner funk ・ Rock drumming to advanced jazz drumming, percussion lessons including cajon, rhythm training for children, etc. He has experience teaching children as young as 4 years old.
Since she tries to give sincere attention to each student, she will consult with each other and create a lesson plan that suits each student's goals and level, and together they will work towards their goals.
For beginners and those who are just starting out, the joy of playing the drums is given top priority, step by step, carefully and without haste.
For intermediate level students who have experience but are struggling to grow and want to improve ・ For advanced level students, we offer an efficient method of improvement based on the instructor's experience. We also assist students who are preparing for entrance into a music university.
